The Mega Speed HHC-X4 Pro portable all-in-one high speed camera from Canadian Mega Speed Corporation sets new standards of ease of use and performance in a portable, battery-operated package. The X-4 Pro brings point-and-shoot photography to the high-speed imaging world.

With its built-in high-power illumination, operators can easily record high-speed videos of fast-moving production equipment on the factory floor without time-consuming external lighting setup. Viewing the recorded slow-motion video on the built-in screen enables you to quickly pinpoint the cause of failure and immediately take corrective action.

The camera is as easy to operate as a consumer digital camera and can be used even by untrained staff. The camera is operated by a menu-driven touch screen, which is also used for slow-motion playback of the recorded videos. The video can be saved on a built-in solid state disk for sharing or archive.

Dual-mode operation

The HHC-X4 Pro can operate in two modes:
In High-speed mode, video is recorded to camera RAM for playback on the built-in display. In this mode, the camera can record at its full speed in up to 11 seconds. The data can subsequently be stored on the SSD or on removable flash storage.

In Streaming mode, video is recorded directly to the SSD for up to hours of recording time. The high-speed SSD disk allows streaming full resolution video at up to around 300 fps.

The dual-mode capability gives you the freedom of balancing the recording speed and duration to the specific situation, ensuring that you always get the data you need.

Battery-operated, stand alone operation

The camera operates stand-alone on internal battery without PC for true portable operation without the need for external lighting or external power. The video data is stored on a removable, high-speed SSD like the ones in your laptop. For long recording sessions, simply replace the SSD with a spare and continue recording without waiting for download to PC. The SSD can be read through your USB3 port with a standard SATA to USB3 adapter.
