AOS Technologies C-VIT
Ultra-compact, High Resolution Rugged High-Speed Camera
The 4Mpixel C-VIT camera from AOS Technologies are rugged high-speed cameras, certified and tested for 150G shock and vibration, and with a frame rate of 1000fps at full HD resolution.
The C-VIT is the first of a new generation of cameras from AOS Technologies, packing a lot of new features and enhanced performance into the same compact format as the previous generation of cameras.
C-VIT is particularly suited for all applications where a compact and robust camera is essential like automotive safety testing – on-board full size crash vehicle or sled body structures where the camera is fitted into tight areas like door panels or the pedal area. Also a perfect fit for industrial or military applications with Hi-G shocks and limited space.
Battery-operated, WiFi controlled operation
The camera operates stand-alone on internal battery without PC or with a laptop PC for portable operation, ideal for industrial troubleshooting or outdoor applications. An optional WiFi connection allows remote setup and control over standard WiFi hardware.

Excellent image quality
C-VIT cameras incorporate a high-accuracy image modulation and reconstruction algorithm, extended the recording time with high image quality.
Compact, light weight rugged housing
The C-VIT cameras are built into compact, sturdy all-metal housings, convection cooled with no fan or vents, ideal for industrial settings with restricted space or for outdoor applications.
Internal battery operation
C-VIT cameras include an internal rechargeable battery with a capacity of 30 min in standby mode or 20 minutes in active mode. An external supply/charger is used for stationary applications. External battery pack option for up to 3 hr operation available.
Easy to learn software
The cameras are delivered with the AOS Imaging Studio software with an intuitive, simple interface for adjusting camera settings, video recording and disk storage. The software includes powerful features for adjusting the video quality and a manual tracking and calibration feature for basic motion analysis.
AOS Motion Analysis Toolbox Included
The AOS Motion Anaslysis Toolbox Starter version, based on the industry-standard TEMA engine from Imaging Systems is included with the camera. The starter version is integrated in AOS Imaging Studio and enables 5-point tracking directly from raw images. Position, velocity and related data can be exported to Excel or Matlab for further analysis. The Starter version can be upgraded to accomodate different application requirements from the extensive library of TEMA features available from Image Systems, such as 3D tracking, advanced tracking algorithms, special marker types and much more.
Automatic download for unattended operation
AOS Imaging Studio allows automatic download and saving of image sequences immediately after recording, ideal for unattended troubleshooting applications.
Fast download via gigabit Ethernet
The Gigabit Ethernet connection enables full-resolution real-time display during camera setup and recording, as well as fast download of the video data from camera to PC. The GigE Ethernet allows up to 100 m cable between PC and camera using standard Cat6 cables.
Up to 10.4 GB internal memory
The internal memory bank can be supplied with up to 10.4 GB of memory, allowing recording up to 4 sec video at full resolution and full speed. Longer sequences can be obtained by reducing the image size and by reduction of the image dynamic range.
