Low cost EIS system with advanced modeling software
Australian data recording specialist eDAQ has released the ERZ100 system for Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy (EIS). The ERZ100 works with an eDAQ ET163 potentiostat up to 100kHz, or with any third-party potentiostat with analog inputs and outputs.
The ERZ100 turns an existing potentiostat into a low-cost EIS system with good performance, ideal for routine or teaching EIS experiments. The ERZ100 comes bundled with the Z NAVIGATOR software for easy experiment setup and control, and the powerful ZMAN software for data management, modeling and fitting of the experimental data to an equivalent circuit model.
Choosing the right circuit model to fit to the experimental data is essential to give physical insight into the structure under test. The ZMAN software includes intelligent fitting algoritms to automatically adjust the model for best fit to the measured data.
