 Swiss AOS Technologies have launched the new S-series of High-Speed cameras for industrial troubleshooting and research . The series consists of the modular S-PRI, the full-featured S-MOTION, and the high-G rated S-VIT, all with a maximum frame rate of 500fps at 1280x1024 påixels.
More light sensitive than ever, the S-series cameras can often be used without extra illumination or with low-wattage halogen or LED lamps, making high-speed video recording easier than ever. Using an S-camera with the new SmartLed 8-LED lamp also from AOS, both camera and lights can now be placed inside a machine behind the safety cover and record videos of fast moving hard-to reach inner parts of the machine.
Like its predecessor, the X-PRI, S-PRI is built on a modular platform with a very cost-effective base camera, whose functionality can be extended with a range of options, such as higher image resolution or speed, image-based trigger, SDI video output or Flash-card slot. The S-Motion is a full featured version suitable for demanding research applications, while the S-VIT is a high-G rated version for crash testing.
