These low-voltage dc lamps are ideal as low-cost illumination for recordings of smaller objects at frame rates below 1000fps. The molded heat-resistant housing has a simple reflector and ground-glass diffuser giving a soft, smooth light cone. These lights are smaller, generate less heat and have much higher light efficiency per watt than utility halogen lights.

The compact halogen lights mounts on standard ¼” light stand threads.

The lights are available with a 12V fixed DC supply, a variable dc supply, or lead-acid battery packs for portable use.

220V AC Video lights

These Video lights are attractive low cost solutions for high-speed video recordings of larger objects, where heat generation and power consumption are not the primary concerns. Using standard halogen bulbs, the video lights are available in 150 and 300W versions with convection cooling and 1000 and 2000W versions with built-in forced cooling.

The heat-resistant housings have ¼” threads for mounting on standard light stands or magic arms.
