Cavilux high-power diode laser strobes

The CAVILUX® product family from Finnish diode laser specialist Cavitar Ltd. is based on patented pulsed high power diode laser illumination technology, capable of delivering laser pulses with several hundred watts of peak power at frequencies up to the MHz range.
The Cavilux strobes are available with red (690nm) or near-infrared (808nm) wavelengths.

Freeze even the fastest motion
The very short pulse duration available with the Cavilux strobes makes it possible to freeze even the fastest movements without motion blur. The high peak power ensures adequate exposure of the camera even at the shortest exposure times.
See through blinding light
Unlike LED's, Cavilux laser strobes emit monochromatic light. Combined with a narrow-band optical filter on the camera, matched to the laser wavelength, imaging of extremely bright phenomena like welding processes or explosions is now possible.
Speckle-free high intensity illumination
Unlike conventional diode laser strobes, which produce grainy images caused by the coherent nature of laser light, Cavilux technology results in crystal-clear images similar to those produced with LED illumination, but with an intensity million of times higher that with the brightest LEDs.
