INPHAZE High-resolution Impedance Spectrometer

The INPHAZE Impedance Spectrometer offers a new type of high-resolution analytical technology with applications in many areas of physical sciences. The INPHAZE systems are provided as complete solutions, including hard- and software, training and workshops, and support for ongoing research.

The INPHAZE Spectrometer System uses electrical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) to measure the complex impedance of a dielectric sample over a frequency range from milliHertz to MegaHertz with unprecedented precision, allowing measurement of dielectric properties of material samples down to single atomic layers.

INPHAZE advantages

High resolution
The INPHAZE technology yields ultra high resolution impedance measurements, enabling detailed detection of the properties of layers down to the single atomic layer level.
  • magnitude resolution down to 0.002 percent
  • phase resolution down to 0.001 degree
  • measurement frequency range: 1 milli-Hz to 1 Mega-Hz
Flexibility - sample connection
The INPHAZE system allows easy and flexible interface of the sample to the spectrometer - whether it is on a microscope stage platform, inside one of the patented INPHAZE chambers, or on an industrial test-bed.
Flexibility – measurement
The spectrometer connects to your PC via an USB port and is fully software controlled. All settings are saved in your PC so you can use them anytime.
Self calibrating
Calibration has also never been so easy. The system can be calibrated in one single step using the "Calibration Wizard" function from the software.

Accessories

Amplifier Unit
The Amplifier Unit connects the signals between the Spectrometer Unit and the sample. The amplifier can be mounted either inside the Faraday cage or in an external enclosure for set-ups where the sample is in an external testbed or on a microscope stage.
Faraday Cage
The Faraday cage shields the measurement chamber and amplifier against electrical interferences to ensure optimal measurement integrity.
Sample Chambers (Measurement Cells)
INPHAZE offers 2 types of sample chambers: a 3-Terminal and a 4-Terminal Chamber. The design of the chambers provides consistent measurements every time.

The 3-terminal chamber is especially useful for thin film samples. Common examples are organic or in-organic layers functionalized onto silicon, gold or metal substrate.

The 4-terminal chamber is especially useful for membranes. Common examples are RO, NF, or Ion-Exchange membranes.

INPHAZE Impedance Analyzer Software

Plotting and data management
The optional Impedance analyzer software is a powerful tool for data file management and for viewing and documentation of measurement data in a variety of formats - conductance vs frequency, capacitance vs frequency, impedance vs frequency, phase vs frequency, Nyquist plots, dielectric constant plots, various time plots...etc.
Automatic Modeling
The Impedance analyzer software includes an advanced dielectric modeling functionality for automatic deconvolution of the measured impedance spectra into an optimized model of your sample, showing the number of layers and the detailed properties of each layer. You can add, modify or delete the elements inside the model and see the new and the original models in comparison.
