Compact IEEE1394.a CMOS and CCD Cameras
The FOculus family of compact Firewire cameras from German supplier NET includes 4 CMOS cameras and 24 CCD cameras in monochrome or colour versions.
The FOculus cameras come in two housing styles: The rugged S-series with CCD sensors from 1/3" to 2/3", and the tiny T-series with CCD or CMOS sensors from 1/3" to 1/1.8".
This diversity provides solutions for a wide variety of vision applications.

Applications
The FOculus cameras are designed for industrial applications such as quality control, positioning- alignment control, completeness-, surface- and printing inspection, identification, edge and contour analysis, bar code and data matrix, traffic- security surveillance, license plate/container recognition OCR/APNR, microscopy and many more.
Software
The integration of FOculus is supported through a wide variety of common drivers. The software package from NET, including a viewer application and SDK, makes integration into existing and fully customized image processing systems easy and simple. The FOculus family is compatible with software libraries like MVTec Halcon and Active Vision Tools, National Instruments LabView, Cognex Vision Pro and Matrox’s MIL & MIL-Lite.
