High-dynamic range CMOS cameras for demanding vision applications
The monochrome MV1-D1312 family of cameras with CameraLink® or GigE interface are based on the 3rd Generation CMOS imager A1312 from Photonfocus. The MV1-D1312 cameras provide a high dynamic range of up to 120dB with the patented LinLog® technology, while being able to operate at a frame rate up to 170fps at full resolution with excellent image quality.
An extended set of features including Multiple Regions of Interest (MROI), decimation, the possibility to use different Look-up-tables (LUT) over different regions of the image, advanced trigger and strobe functions make this camera the ideal tool for demanding vision applications.
Cameralink or Gigabit Ethernet
The MV1-D1312 cameras are available in four Cameralink versions with maximum frame rate at full resolution of 27, 55, 108 and 170 fps, and three Gigabit Ethernet versions with frame rates of 27, 55 or 68fps.
The frame rate can be increased by using a single ROI or multiple ROIs (cameralink versions only) to read out only data from one or more sub-areas on the sensor.
All Photonfocus GigE cameras are approved by the EMVA and AIA as fully compliant with the GigE Vision and GenICam standards.
The A1312 image sensor series is designed and fabricated in a 0.35µm CMOS technology, optimized for image sensors to achieve an outstanding sensitivity and quantum efficiency. The resolution of the new sensors is 1312 x 1082 pixels, with 8µm x 8µm square pixels and over 60% fill factor with an excellent image quality. The fast global shutter provides sharp and smear free images even at high frame rates

DR1-D1312 Double Rate CMOS camera
The DR1-D1312-200-G2-8 is a high speed GigE camera employing the Photonfocus Double-Rate (DR) technology to double the transmission speed over a standard single-cable GigE connection.
Applications include motion analysis (e.g. in the area of bionic, sports or biomechanical analysis) and process failure analysis (e.g. burst or fracture of tools, failure of handling systems, breakdown of packaging systems), where high frame rates with the simplicity and connectivity of standard GigE interface are required.
The DR technology employs a special modulation technique, implemented in the camera FPGA, where two ajacent pixel values are packed into a single byte of data with very little loss of SNR. This technology allows a doubling of the camera frame rate without the complications of a dual-cable Link Aggregate solution. The reduction of hardware complexity and data throughput also allows important reduction of system costs compared to a Link Aggregate or CameraLink solution.

DS1-D1312 digital standard CMOS cameras
The DS1-D1312 series of cameras are economical high-speed 1.3 Megapixel cameras with an outstanding image quality, offering all standard features for common vision application needs.
The DS1-D1312 cameras have a dynamic range of 60dB with 10 bits data.
The cameras are available in versions with frame rates of 27, 55 and 108 fps, all with cameralink interface.
