Fastec HiSpec 1 Compact Camera
The HiSpec 1 is a compact, low-light high-speed video camera with GigE Vision interface. The unprecedented light sensitivity of the HiSpec 1 enables high speed recordings at 1.3 megapixels with no or little extra lighting.

Adjustable logaritmic compression
Having trouble capturing high dynamic range scenery with bright reflections, dark shadows, badly illuminated details? With the adjustable linear to logaritmic compression of the HiSpec 1, you can record scenes with shiny metal surfaces and dark rubber parts with high-contrast details in both bright and dark areas.
Software-Based Auto-Trigger
Now it’s easy to capture those elusive random events. Simply define a “region of interest” in the field of view and let the software trigger take over. Any change in the pre-set image area will stop the recording and save the event sequence. No special hardware or intrusive wiring is required.
Burst Trigger Mode
With the HiSpec’s unique Burst Trigger Mode, you can capture hundreds of image sequences in the memory without downloading. Multiple events can easily be recorded over an extended period of time. Users can also partition the memory into 16 unique segments for additional flexibility.
Use it Everywhere
The HiSpec’s Gigabit Ethernet interface allows the user to operate multiple cameras from any standard Notebook / PC up to a distance of 100 meters. The HiSpec is designed for easy operation in virtually any industrial or laboratory environment.
GigE vision compatibility
The Fastec HiSpec is certified by the EMVA association as GigE Vision compatible, meaning that it will interface to standard GigE Vision software environments. The HiSpec comes with the HiSpec Director II software as well as a C++ SDK for full integration in user-written software.
Fastec Hispec 2 Extended memory/High-G camera
The Hispec 2 camera combines all the features of the HiSpec 1 with built-in battery and optional extended memory and High-G certification. With the added benefit of small size, the HiSpec 2 is ideal for on-board automotive impact testing, military ordinance testing and other harsh environment applications.

Extended memory option
With 4GB standard memory, optionally extendable to 8GB, the maximum recording time is up to 12.9 sec at full speed and resolution.
Built-in battery
Not only does the battery ensure fail-safe operation in the event of a power loss, it allows “untethered” operation for up to an hour and has an image retention mode that stores images up to 24 hours for maximum data integrity.
Back or side-mounted conectors
The HiSpec 2 is supplied as standard with power, trigger and industrial-grade lockable GigE connectors on the back of the camera. Side mounted connectors are optionally available for added mounting flexibility. |
