The AOS Q-PRI camera is an entry-level high-speed camera with ultra-high resolution of 3Megapixel at a frame rate og 500fps.
With a set of field-upgradable options, the Q-PRI can be scaled to fit new applications.
With unique features like built-in battery, stand-alone operation and Gigabit Ethernet connectivity, the Q-PRI high-speed CMOS cameras are ideal for industrial and research applications.
The Q-PRI is also ideal for TV-productions up to 720P HD format, with an excellent image quality and high resolution, giving high-quality videos in HD format.

Compact, light weight rugged housing
The Q-PRI camera are built into compact, sturdy all-metal housings, convection cooled with no fan or vents, ideal for industrial settings with restricted space or for outdoor applications.
Internal battery operation
Despite its small size, the Q-PRI camera include an internal rechargeable battery with a capacity of 1 hour in standby mode or 1/2 hour in active mode. An external supply/charger is used for stationary applications.

Easy to learn software
The cameras are delivered with the AOS Imaging Studio software with an intuitive, simple interface for adjusting camera settings, video recording and disk storage. The software includes powerful features for adjusting the video quality and a manual tracking and calibration feature for basic motion analysis.
Automatic download for unattended operation
The AOS Imaging Studio allows automatic download and saving of image sequences immediately after recording, ideal for unattended troubleshooting applications.
Fast download via gigabit Ethernet
The Gigabit Ethernet connection enables full-resolution real-time display during camera setup and recording, as well as very fast download of the video data from camera to PC. The Ethernet connection will automatically switch to fast Ethernet when connected to a base 100 network card. The GigE Ethernet allows up to 100 m cable between PC and camera using standard Cat6 cables.
Up to 10.4 GB internal memory
The internal memory bank can be supplied with up to 10.4 GB of memory, allowing recording up to 7.2 sec video at full resolution. Longer sequences can be obtained by reducing the image size.
SDI or analog video output
The Q-PRI is available with a built-in monitor output
for standard SDI or PAL/NTSC monitors, which can be used as on-camera viewfinders.
Q-VIT Ruggedized High-speed Camera
The Q-VIT is a ruggedized version of the Q-PRI, hardened to withstand harsh environments for automotive safety testing and demanding research applications.
The Q-VIT will withstand up to 100G shock in all 3 directions.
Q-EM Flight-certified ultra-rugged High-speed Camera
The Q-EM is a camera used under the toughest conditions. This high speed camera is especially equipped with functionality as required in airborne store separation tests. The MIL 810 / MIL 461 tested camera serves duty in many defence system testing all over the world. With little change this camera adapts to your needs (e.g., interface signals, connectors etc)
With the same basic specifications as the Q-PRI, the Q-EM offers 500fps at 3 Mpixel resolution, built-in battery and CF card for data storage.
In addition, the Q-EM will withstand the extreme humidity and temperature requirements, required for in-flight testing. |
